A HELICOPTER JUMP STARTED BY CAR

Wonders never seem to cease as the story below shall illustrate, a helicopter that was bringing visitors from abroad to visit the graves of famous religious figures in Israel in the country’s north, was not able to take off. The amazing thing is this that the pilot of the helicopter, with the help of some locals managed to jump start the helicopter by connecting its battery with two car batteries. This extraordinary tale began to unfold when during a weekend at a place known as Miron, in the northern part of Israel some Jewish visitors that lived in New York came for a tour around the graves of famous religious figures in Israel.

When the Jewish visitors from New York arrived in Miron aboard a chopper, they were met and joined by Danny Saida, a member of the Religious council, during their tour of the graves of famous religious figures as had been mentioned earlier. At the end of the tour and having no further business in upper Galilee, the Jewish visitors from New York were taken back to Miron and to their helicopter, escorted by Danny Saida a member of the religious council.  They climbed into their helicopter, the pilot tried to start the helicopter’s engine but with no success at all. The pilot’s frantic efforts in trying to start the helicopter’s engine, only ended in frustration for both the pilot and his passengers as the battery got depleted and the helicopter could not take off.

After the futile efforts of trying to start the helicopter’s engine the pilot eventually asked for help notes Danny Saida, a member of the religious council. Saida was quoted as saying that the pilot explained to them that it was possible to jump start the helicopter with cables from vehicles, the only challenge being that the cars batteries were 12 volts and the helicopter was using 24 volt battery. What really marked   the turning point in this dramatic tale was the ingenuity of the pilot. Danny Saida explained that ‘’the pilot asked us to get two cars near the helicopter, and he then proceeded to make a connection between the two car batteries and from there to the helicopter which made a 24 voltage power.” After just a few efforts the helicopter’s engine sprang to life signified by the spinning of the propeller. The guests could now, beaming with joy look forward to a safe journey back to Tel Aviv, marking the end of a great story whose main character was an ingenious pilot.
